The UK Embassy in Saudi Arabia issued a security alert on Tuesday, warning British nationals of continuing missile and drone attacks in the kingdom.
“Saudi Arabia continues to experience missile and drone attacks, targeting cities, airports, military sites and energy infrastructure,” the embassy said in a statement.
It urged British nationals to follow the latest travel advice from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), subscribe to official alerts and follow instructions from Saudi authorities.
The embassy also advised people not to film, publish or share information related to conflict-related incidents and to be aware of the nearest places where they could take shelter.
The warning comes amid heightened regional tensions and a series of Houthi attacks targeting Saudi territory.
Earlier Tuesday, Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation said attacks targeted airports in the southern cities of Jazan and Najran, injuring three people.
Yemen has also witnessed escalating fighting between the Houthis and forces aligned with the internationally recognized government, alongside military operations by the Saudi-led coalition.
