Death toll from Typhoon Dujuan in eastern Japan rises to 10, with 4 missing

The death toll from Typhoon Dujuan, which struck eastern Japan earlier this week, rose to 10 on Wednesday, with four missing, according to media reports.

Seven of the victims were killed in Chiba and three in Kanagawa prefectures, according to Kyodo News.

Authorities discovered the body of a woman earlier in Kanagawa prefecture, and a man from a submerged vehicle in Chiba prefecture, east of Tokyo.

The search continues for four victims who are missing in both prefectures.

The typhoon wreaked havoc, particularly in Chiba, after the area had also been hit by heavy rain and floods in August and early September.
